Krissi B is an established DJ, Musician and Sound & Light Engineer. He has worked in the industry for nearly 20 years, and has a vast experience of playing all styles of music to large crowds in multiple countries. Some of Krissi’s corporate clients over the years include Barclays, Umbro, Manchester United, DVLA, Granada TV and Cancer Research UK, to name a few. With excellent crowd management and microphone skills, Krissi is a versatile selector with the musical knowledge to deal with any situation, and has proved this consistently within the commercial sector. As well as performing regularly for high end companies and charities, he also has years of experience in thriving bars and clubs, and has been resident DJ at numerous locations for large high street operators including Luminar Leisure, Walkabout & Marstons. He is also well established in the wedding industry and has appeared on BBC Three’s ‘Don’t Tell The Bride’.
Krissi also regularly performs live on the underground dance scene, within the UK, Europe, Canada & USA, including streamed performances on Boiler Room, Rinse FM, amongst others. In 2007 he scored a UK Garage #1 with the official remix of ‘Stormy Weather’ by Iman and has a back catalog of releases on multiple labels.
As a songwriter, his music has been used by the BBC, Sky and other high profile TV & Radio stations across the globe. Highlights include music used on ‘Last Man Standing’, ‘Better Homes & Gardens’, ‘Xtreme Waterparks’ as well as the theme & advertising music used by Sky Sports for Horse Racing.
He co-owns Northern Line Records which released the classic house tune ‘Do You Mind’ by Kyla, which was recently sampled by Drake on the global smash ‘One Dance’, which reached #1 in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Ireland, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
